About this site.
Who’s behind it.
I’m Nikolas Taschler. I study computer science at TU Wien and start businesses. This site collects essays, dated notes and a few traces of the work.
The design.
Routines and travel suggested the visual rhythm: measured intervals and wider views. Ink, cool white, and a restrained orange accent. The typeface is Bricolage Grotesque, by Mathieu Triay.
The photographs.
The current collection uses illustrative photographs. They are credited selections, rather than photographs of my own life or a record of places I have visited.
- An open horizon / Tom De Ley
- A wider frame / Fedor
- A different pace / Sebastian Unrau
- The shape of a rhythm / Julia Taubitz
